Education and Work Experiance
My first employment was with education department as a teacher, where I taught Agricultural science and Mathematics at Gunjur junior secondary school and moved on to different other schools until 1997. In 1997 I enrolled into Gambia hotel school and did a 2 year course in food & beverage service. During the period of my hotel work experience I embarked on courses and private examinations to further upgrade me, leading to change of my field of work to accountancy. I was employed as an accountant and food and beverage controller at Sir William’s restaurant in Bakotou hotel where I spent 2 years. In 1997 I was employed an accountant at the Arch22 under the ministry of tourism where I worked for 5 years. In 2002 I resigned upon acquiring admission to study accountancy at Emile Woolf College in London UK. I studied different courses ranging from Professional to Academic until 2013 graduating with MBA from the University of Gloucestershire.
